Blogging  experience.  

having a blog was kind a of a challenge, when a I was a little girl because I always liked writting. At first I used to write fantastic stories and then about my feelings and life but I never really take this too serious to start a blog. Having a blog was actually really fun and it was kind of easy because I didn't have to think about the topic (which is the hardest part) because it was already given to me. 

It was a interesting because it was a different language and with this I could improve my habilities and I think I really did so I'm really proud of that.

In the next future I would like to write about more complex stuff not only daily things, maybe about an investigation about economy or education, in that way I could include a more advance vocabulary.

that could be usefull in my future career,  english is a very important tool and not only for getting a job, also to be more independent. (and also it is a beautiful language).

I love writting so I will never stop doing it, maybe not in a blog or maybe about more personal stuff. 

this experience make me realize that I love languages and I'm kind of good at them so maybe the next step could be a different language like french  or italian. it would be a really nice challenge 

Summer plans 

To be honest I haven't thought about what I am going to do this summer, and the main reason is because my college year ends in half of january so to me summer is still far away and I am too concentrate in the final examns to make plans. however, I think that my summer will be divided  in three: a time with my mom, a time with my dad and maybe a time with my friends. 

My mom said that maybe my grandparents will invite us to the lake Vichuquén after  I finish my examns, so that will be the perfect time to enjoy with my mom and I also love the lakes so I really looking forward it. in 

Febuary my dad wants to travel to the south to repeat the trip we did in 2009. This would be fantastic, I fell in love with the south  in that time so I would be happy to come back although this trip is no really confirmed because my dad hasn't change his car but he is doing everything he can  to get it. 

The time with my friends is never really sure because no one has a car and we all depend of the money of our parents. Another posibility will be a part time job to get a little bit of money to me, I don't want to sound lazy but my vacation are really important to me, is the time  when I can sleep, rest and have fun and share with all the people that   I couldn't see during the year beacuse I didn't have time. 

And for the days that i will be in santiago I will probably  go to the cinema, go to partys, go shopping or have a movie afternoon with my friends

Christmas 

Christmas time is a very special time of the year and of course it is not cause of the gifts and all the shopping, for me is more like a day where I can share with the whole family. During the year it is kind of hard to bring everyone together the same day, so christmas is the perfect excuse to stop everything and have a nice time with the people you love. In my family is a tradition make a special dinner with everyone and then we open the gifts. My parents are recently divorced so now I have to choose with which one I want to spend the chritmas dinner, last year I spent it with my dad but I haven't decided what I'm going to do this year.

 I consider myself a lucky girl, I don't have material needs and I have almost everything I want so I don't usually ask for gifts, I accept everything that is gave to me and  I mostly appreciate the intencion so I don't like those expensive gifts. (unless is something I have been asking for a long time) . 

The most important thing is sharing with the family so it really freaks me out  all that christmas consumerism and and that obsession of buying the perfect gift. Having a christmas tree is nice and pretty but I think is unnecessary to decorate every single corner of the house, I don't even want to talk about the malls! but I think I like a little bit  all the lights on the streets, it is kind of magical. 

But there is one thing I really love abour christmas time: christmas carols. The music for christmas is one of my favourites, every year there are new versions of classical christmas songs and I spend all the day singing them.

 

My favorite series is "How I Met Your Mother" . This is by far one of the best series I've seen  . This show is about Ted , who is the main character, who tells his children how he got to know their mother . the story is set in New York and Ted 's adventures are combined with the adventures of his best friends . this series combines entertainment with drama and  the important values ​​of life . many people say that is the modern version of " friends" and perhaps you are right but I prefer by far " How I Met Your Mother " . I really like the series with a complex history and human relationships, either about the present time or a past time. I would like to see many other series like "house of cards" or "orange is the new black"  but I don't have  enough time , perhaps on vacation I cuould see them all.  anyway, I must say  that I'm that kind of person that sees one chapter and then won't stop until finish the whole story, that is why  I try  to avoid tv shows during the semester, otherwise I would fail all my classes. 

Pollution and enviromental problems  it's a reality that concerns to everyone, for that reason it's important to educate the people about the consequences of contaminate and make a change in the society. I think that schools and universities are the best place to teach enviromentally friendly practices, then the students can spread the information at their homes and neighborhoods. To be honest I don't any have recycling habits buy I alway try to use the lowest quantity of plastic at home. gasoline pollution  is not a problem for me because I walk every day from my home to the university so I don't use the car and if it too far, I use the subway. At my university there are a few organisations about enviroment and ecology but I haven't joined to anyone and maybe because I don't have enough time to do extra activities and I don't feel very moved for the cause. maybe i'd like to learn more about  easy ideas of how to  recycle at home. At least I try not use the light and the tv very much and not take long showers. What is missing in Chile to reduce the carbon footprint is information and education. not every city or colleges are teaching about the situation of the planet earth and neither about recycling or to be clean , education and a free pollution enviroment should be for everyone.

My future job 

Right now i'm studying to become a lawyer, so that will be my future job. There are a lot  of kind of lawyers and I still don't know which  one I'd like be, maybe because this is only my first year and I don't know enough about my own carreer. Being the kind of office lawyer sounds quite boring but it can also be more easy than the kind of lawyer that has to be really early at the court and run all day through the city to get some papers, but with this  job I would get much more experience and knowledge. Having a Job where you have to travel a lot may be really exhausting over the years, so maybe I would like to travel just for fun and stay in town while I'm working. I'm the kind of persons who wants to be the best and know a lot about everything, so taking a major is definitely in my plans and ¿ what kind of mayor? I don't know, but the anwser will come with the years and at least I'm happy studying this.

The best holydays ever 

In the summer of 2009 my mom, my dad, my older brother and I went for a two weeks vacation to the south of the country.  As a family we loved travel together and we have never gone to the south, so that year we decided to do it. It was a very long car trip from santiago to Chillan, then we spent the night in temuco to continue to Valdivia and then llanquihue, Frutillar, Puerto Varas , Puerto montt and finally we arrived in the island of Chiloe. All the cities were very beautiful but Frutillar was definitely my favorite, there is just something about that city, the lake, ,the theater , the architecture and most important. ...the food. The cakes I ate there is just something I will never forget.  We took pictures in all the places and eat a lot of every kind of food.  This was  my best vacation because I visited a lot of beautiful places and also that year was the year a change of  school, so a lot of things were coming to my mind in that summer.  This vacation were a break of everything that was happening then and it gave me a lot of time o think about my life. Sometimes we need to escape a little bit of the reality and breath a different air. I totally recomend the south for that :)

A country  I'd like to vistit

Since I was a little girl I had this estrange curiosity about Scotland and it would be my first stop when I travel to Europe. This curiosity may come from all the fairy tales I used to read when I was younger, I loved everything about old castles, mysterious woods, enchanted creatures and melancholic stories. When I saw for the first time the landscapes an the ruins that Scotland has, I was completely in love, it had everything I ever imagine from the tales and it also  has a  cold and rainy weather (which it makes it very nostalgic). I don't know quite a lot about the country, only a few thing about the literature and their music ( I love the sound of the bagpipes). As soon I get the money I will live there for a month maybe, and I will take a lot oh photos and visit every historic place.
